Credits

Credit must first go to the faculty and management of the Higher Colleges of Technology, especially to Dean Philip Quirke and Steve Allison, who have strongly supported the development and integration of research skills training for all students within a systematic program involving the embedding of IL skills in several courses. Many of the teaching faculty in HCT have likewise supported the integration of research skills training over the years, and worked in close and productive partnership with the HCT librarians to assist in developing the resources in this website.

Credit to the webmaster Mohammad Fallaha, and supportive IT and publication managers such as Jackson Joseph, without who this project would not be possible.

Thank you to the enthusiastic and collaborative library team who have worked to draw together teaching resources and support the development of this website, in particular to Helen Weston, Marion Finnegan, John Williams, Rebecca Whitney, Dr. Dorian Lange, Michelle Housley, Gordon Higgs, Hunt Luker, Michael Gaffney, Jane Barnwell, Smitha Sumod, Stephen Visage, Lynsey Eames, Benj Requiero, Mark Juan. Credit must also go to librarians who have now left this library service, but who’s legacy was to create excellent teaching resources able to be integrated, including Dr. Nicole Johnstone, Dr. Alicia Salaz, Priya Thomas, and Louise Sikkens.

Dr. Janet Martin

Acknowledgements

We must acknowledge all of the sharing and collaborative libraries all over the world who make their teaching resources publicly available to everyone through websites and YouTube videos. Hopefully this open website can also contribute to others learning about information management and research, especially in places where there are largely ESL students.
