Foundations Division Hosts Assembly at Al Ain Men’s College

The Foundations Division at the HCT- Al Ain Men’s College (AAMC) recently organized an assembly for new and existing students progressing to Cycle 2 of the new Foundations one-year intensive study programme, in the presence of Dr Yahya Al Ansaari, Director of AAMC.

Dr Yahya, together with the Foundation Division Chair Douglas Henderson, warmly welcomed the students and commended their efforts and outstanding academic performance.

Dr Yahya thanked the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Members of the Supreme Council, and Their Highnesses Rulers of Emirates, for their great support of the education sector in the UAE and expressed loyalty and gratitude to the UAE’s leadership.

He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Mohammed Omran Al Shamsi, HCT Chancellor, and to Dr Abdullatif Al Shamsi, Vice Chancellor of HCT, for their support of AAMC.

Dr Yahya conveyed his sincere condolences to the nation, the leadership, the relatives, and to the people of the UAE about the Emirati martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty during ‘Operation Restore Hope’.

He then held an open session with the students where he encouraged them to take advantage of their presence at the college and to study hard to achieve the best possible results. He also encouraged them to follow HCT’s rules and regulation, and to effectively engage in college activities.

Foundations Chair, Douglas Henderson and his team discussed the importance of college policies and the resources available for students to succeed in their studies. They were encouraged to focus on the reasons for studying at AAMC and how to succeed. They were also urged to achieve their goals through hard work while still enjoying their learning experiences. This message was enthusiastically received by the audience.
