Download Microsoft Office iOS Apps, For Free!

November 13, 2014

Last week, Microsoft Office made its iOS apps, like Microsoft WordMicrosoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel, available for users to download and use for free. For the time being, only users with access to some stores (like American or Canadian stores) can download these apps. This means users who have UAE apple accounts don’t have access to these apps yet.

Create an account

Without creating an account, you can view documents using Microsoft apps. But, to edit and create new documents, you need to take one minute of your time to create a Microsoft account that can be used for all three apps. Make sure to take note of your password because you will need it to login to the same account if promoted in other Microsoft apps.

What does this mean for our us?

You don’t need to convert your docx files to PDF anymore. You can easily send Word documents to your iPad to edit and do whatever they want with using Microsoft Word. It also means that you can easily edit your excel sheets (attendance, grade sheets, etc) on your iPad without the hassle of converting documents or editing PDFs.

**If you cannot download them, it might be because your iTunes account is linked to the UAE store. We will let you know as soon as the apps are available in the UAE store.  (:
