The Box Appeal

Students at Fujairah Women’s college have participated in the Radisson Blu ‘box appeal’ this year. The annual appeal asks people to fill shoe boxes with items that are written on the side in the form of a ‘shopping list’. Items include things such as a cap, toothpaste and so on. The appeal has created a lot of discussion around the college and has raised awareness as to how even small offerings can make a big difference to people’s lives. The college has managed to collect over 200 boxes with more yet to come.
