Inter College Quiz

On 8 May, Fujairah Men’s College went to compete in the inter college quiz in Al Ain. This yearly event is organized by supervisor Douglas Henderson and is a great chance for colleges to get to meet each other and to have a fun time together. The team members were Talal Alzaabi, Abdullah Dhanhani, Mohamed Asad and Ali Alhosani. The team were selected and trained by their level 4 foundations teacher, Tracy Munteanu, who chose them for their range of skills and expertise, and also their sense of teamwork. “The quiz is dependent on a lot of other things than knowledge…..it also involves good team work in agreeing on an answer and then speedy typing” says Tracy. The 4 chosen students had these skills and they managed to bring Fujairah from seventh place last year to  second place this year.

“Next year we are looking at the first place……so watch out Sharjah!”
