Al Ain Colleges celebrate the Foundation students’ academic excellence at assemblies at AAM and AAW
Derek FallonAl Ain Colleges Faculty of Foundations hosted three Foundations Celebration of Academic Excellence assemblies on Monday 17th March 2014. These assemblies were to recognize both male and female Foundation students who achieved excellent academic results on the programme last semester.
Tim Smith, Executive Dean of Foundations, delivered the opening address. Mr. Smith emphasized the importance of making the most of their studies at HCT-Al Ain and offered the students advice on how to achieve academic excellence by preparing adequately for their studies, staying focused, setting targets and managing their time.
Mr. Smith then awarded certificates to 91 students for best academic performance, 16 students for successfully passing the exceptional progression assessment and 17 students for excellent attendance.
The assemblies ended by wishing all the students success in their studies this semester and thanking the Foundations faculty for their professional commitment to their students’ achievements.
