Foundations Newsletter

I was born and brought up in Iraq, but I am now based in UK.  I hold B.A. English from the University of Baghdad, a postgraduate TEFL diploma from the University College of North Wales in Bangor, UK and a Master’s in translation and interpreting from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK.  I am currently working on my Doctor of Education (EdD) thesis at the University of Exeter, UK.

I have been a TESOL teacher for over 25 years.  I have taught in Iraq, Libya, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.  I joined HCT Fujairah Men’s College in August, 2011 and I am currently teaching English in the Foundations Program.
